Private security review

Find the weak links in your Bitcoin security setup.

Answer six questions about security practices, not wallet secrets. You will get a prioritized, explainable action list without a score or a claim that your setup is safe.

Six-question review
Assessment scope

Six operational layers, reviewed separately

Bitcoin risk is not one number. This assessment separates control of keys from backup durability, recovery practice, access protection, payment verification, and continuity planning.

01

Custody

Who controls the keys and where counterparty or operating risk sits.

02

Backup

Whether recovery material is verified and resilient to one failure.

03

Recovery

Whether the restoration process has been tested under controlled conditions.

04

Device and account access

How wallet-related devices and custodial accounts resist takeover.

05

Transaction verification

How destination and amount details are checked before approval.

06

Continuity planning

Whether trusted people can respond to incapacity or death without guessing.

Method

How the findings are produced

Each answer maps to a documented qualitative finding. Findings are ordered by action priority; they are not combined into a numerical rating.

  • High priority identifies a control gap that deserves prompt attention.
  • Medium priority identifies a meaningful weakness or single point of failure.
  • Maintenance means the described practice appears stronger but still requires review and rehearsal.
Important limitations

This is education, not a security guarantee

A short browser questionnaire cannot inspect your devices, confirm a backup, model every attacker, or account for legal and personal circumstances.

  • The result is only as accurate as the practice-level answers you select.
  • A lower-priority result does not prove that funds, software, people, or locations are secure.
  • Use qualified legal, tax, or security help when the consequences or setup complexity justify it.
