Revenue may come from display advertising or marked affiliate links. Neither is evidence that a wallet is safe or appropriate for a particular person.
Display advertising
Selected long-form pages may display Google AdSense units labeled “Advertisement.” Ads are not endorsements and advertisers do not review editorial copy before publication. BitcoinSafe excludes ads from interactive questions, assessment results, and the urgent hardware-wallet security tracker by design.
Affiliate links
Some product links may be affiliate links. If a reader follows one and completes a qualifying purchase, BitcoinSafe may receive a commission without increasing the reader's price. Affiliate links should use the rel="sponsored"attribute and be identified in context.
Research standard
Product security profiles distinguish first-party documentation, published security disclosures, and BitcoinSafe analysis. A page does not claim hands-on testing unless the test method and evidence are stated. Current document-based profiles intentionally avoid star ratings and universal “best wallet” claims.
- Claims that can change should link to a current primary source.
- Prices are normally excluded because regional and promotional pricing changes quickly.
- Known advisories and discontinued support status are not omitted to protect an affiliate relationship.
- Security-tracker entries do not contain affiliate calls to action.
